A website for Elisabethopolis

The Armenian community of Dumbrăveni (the UAR branch and the Dumbrăveni Armenian Foundation) has created a website dedicated to the city ofElisabethopolisthat you can visit at

http://www.elisabethopolis.ro/

The website offers a virtual tour of the city’s Armenian Cathedral and theApaffyCastle(only partially for now).

Congratulations to Mr. Călinescu, the president of the UAR Dumbrăveni branch for this initiative.

    My congratulations to this very interesting virtual tour through Dumbraveni Armenian church. I have visited the region some months ago having seen among many other things the Armenian church in Gherla and the Armenian monastery Hagigadar but there was no time to stop at Elisabethopolis. Now I can see this too. I hope there will be more like of that kind in the future. What about Gheorgheni Armenian church?
